MEET JOSH

Making Fort Worth Better For All Of Us

I am a lifelong resident of Fort Worth. I grew up volunteering at Broadway Baptist Church where I sang in the choir, and was involved in their numerous mission opportunities across the state and nation. I graduated from North Crowley High School, in southwest Fort Worth, where I also sang in the Choir and marched in the Mighty Panther Band. While at college at Hardin-Simmons in Abilene, I learned how to two-step, which I still enjoy dancing at the Stockyards. Today, I serve as Community Ministries Coordinator at the same church I’ve attended all my life, and am pursuing a Master’s degree at Brite Divinity School on the campus of TCU.

My most deeply held value is service to others. At Broadway Baptist, I lead in daily support services and during the hottest and coldest months of year help provide emergency housing for those who need it most. I also proudly serve on the board of the Justice Network of Tarrant County, which seeks to make our community a place where everyone, regardless of race, class, or orientation can thrive. And now, I seek to serve the people of Fort Worth as your mayor.

We are a world-class city, but we lack world-class leadership. With your help, I will change that.

For a Fort Worth where Y’all really means All
